Alder Allensworth and Brenda Freed co-created the multicultural, comprehensive yet concise, video-based Mackenzie Meets Alzheimer’s Awareness Program (MMAAP) and Mackenzie Meets Alzheimer’s Disease Picture Book that comes with the download of a song whose lyrics are the text for the book. The MMAAP and the picture book educate families, from toddlers on up, on how to interact and maintain a relationship with a loved one who has Alzheimer’s or any type of dementia. By providing information, tips, and activities, families have tools to create positive memories with their loved one from diagnosis through the severe stage.

Celem tego programu jest skupienie się na interwencjach opartych na muzyce, mających na celu poprawę zachowania i jakości życia starszych osób chorych na demencję. Villa Scalabrini
Villa Scalabrini is an outstanding care home, specializing in accommodating individuals affected by dementia. In 2023, in collaboration with some of its residents, the melodies of Heart Symphony were tested.
Established in 1986, initially mainly for the Italian community, Villa Scalabrini welcomes individuals from all cultures, religions and nationalities to our Roman Catholic care home in Shenley in Hertfordshire.
